Welcome to this registration e-learning module. This course will outline and explain the registration process under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 for independent healthcare and adult social care providers.

It will provide important information, and explain what you need to do to apply for registration.

This course will enable you to:

• Understand the registration process from beginning to end
  
• Follow the correct procedures and successfully complete the application form
  
• Access supporting guidance documents

This module focuses on those providers of adult social care and independent healthcare who are currently registered under the Care Standards Act 2000 and who will be completing their application online.
